Round 11 Confessional

Well much to be expected, there was another tribe swap. I have stayed on the red team, along with Mikey, Jerri, and Ami. Joining the new red team are Eliza, Erik, John, and Lindsay. I was somewhat disappointed at the newbs on this team, because I have no previous exposure to any of them, and I would've liked Chicken, Russel, Ralph, or Yul to join us instead. However, nothing in Survivor ever goes 100% the way you want it, so I move on.

Of course, due to Lindsay's "fire", an excuse so crazy and desperate I guess I have no reason to not believe it, our team loses. Now don't get me wrong, I'm all about bringing punishment to those who do my team wrong in challenges. Lindsay was the main reason we lost, cus she's pretty much proved herself to be the worse player on the tribe, and probably left in the game. But some people have talked about voting her out, and I'm not entirely sure that's a solid idea. If Lindsay, who supposedly is in Jerri's back pocket, gets voted out, that would be the third vote in a row I have lied to Jerri about. If I voted Lindsay out, it would only be because I have faith that Jerri still has no options but to run to me, due to her hatred of just about everyone left in the game. Can I risk abandoning an ally that has nobody else to run to?

This new tribe is basically divided into four sets of two, the extent of some relationships being unknown to some. But in my regard, there is Jerri/Lindsay, Mike/John, Erik/Eliza, and myself/Ami. But then the foursome bond of me/ami/mike/jerri still need to stay strong, and hopefully we can become the last 4 of this current tribe if we lose three more challenges after this one.

Luckily, my safety seems to be pretty solid, so this vote right now is something that will hopefully help me long term AND short term. I feel at this point, voting Lindsay is the right move

Is it really too much to ask for a retired NFL player to be able to relax and watch the Super Bowl in peace?!?! Guess it is, because when I come back to my laptop from the game, got so many people bombarding me about shit.

First off, I never knew how many connections people could have in this game. Sure it worries me, but hell, if you get caught up in all that crap you lose sight of the fact that when you win challenges, you don't need any connections. That's the bottom line for me. I'm too worn out and tired to explain all that happened, maybe I will in the future, but for now I need my team strong, and Lindsay is toast. Sorry Jerri

Well a lot of fucked up shit appened right before the deadline, and in a panic I swapped my vote from against Lindsey to against Eliza. I had made my parchment for Lindsey, everything was all ready to go, then Fabio and JT come online and basically pressure me into voting Eliza. No they didn't bully me, nor were they the deciding factors in my decision, as myself and Mikey ultimately felt it was ok to let Eliza go in hopes us two, ami, erik, and prob john would boot Lindsey next round.

Of course, with a tie vote now comes evn more time to think and more time to think about the best situation. Mainly the reasonI was ok voting Eliza was that we never really talked much and I worried about her tight bonds with Ami and Erik. But upon further investigation, there is a larger alliance between people such as Fabio, Yul, JT, Dave, Lindsay and Jerri.

This whole revote basically falls on my shoulders, as I have no clue who to trust now, and I think at this point I'm playing with fire. I dont see myself being in a solid position until I'm back with Chicken, Russell, and Ralph. To help aid them, some challenges may have to be thrown in the future. But for now, I think to combat what I now perceive as the biggest alliance in the game, Lindsey must go. Let's hope everyone doesn't completely shun me now...
