Episode Four~

You know that thing called your gut? I should have followed that last night. I thought that my vote was going to send Eliza home, but clearly I was wrong when only 3 votes came up with her name. Basically I listed to Chase and Jerri and it now has put me in the minority. The alliance that they created wasn't an alliance at all. Now I feel like I have a target on my back because I voted out Eliza.
It seems like I am not playing this game very well. I'm making a lot of mistakes and need to really focus in on something solid. If I continue to make these errors then I won't be getting far. So I really need to explain myself well over why I voted Eliza.

I feel no loyalty toward Jerri. I don't trust her and if I have to kinda put the target on her first if we lose again then that is what I'm going to do.

Our tribe won Immunity and I'm very happy. I have always had to make the hike to Tribal Council and this time I know that there is no chance of me being voted off. I don't have to scramble or engage in strategic conversations with people for the next 24 hours. So its a really good feeling and I'm hoping its a feeling that continues to stay with me in this game.

Before we all left I decided that I wanted to sacrifice my trip to Ubirr to Taj. I did this in front of everyone because I wanted people to have a good perception of me before even getting to know me. I think a trip to Ubirr would be great, but it would also make me a target by a possible majority alliance here. I know that since I voted Eliza that I could be the target for it. So giving Taj my trip helps me gain favor with members she is aligned with as well as other tribe members that are in the game. I felt that the move was a good long term strategy rather then going to Ubirr which is a good short term strategy. There was no guarantee of me finding anything there and I would rather be on everyone's good graces now and show publicly the type of player I am. I think I made the right move and I hope it serves me well in the future!
