Day 8
So Chase left us yesterday. And I would say a good number of people, Chase included, were shocked. I don't think Chase saw it coming, nor did Tanya or Kenny. It was kind of beautiful to see it all play out. Nothing like being on the right side of a good blind side!
I'm guessing that Colby and Sophie joined the six original Nanguluwur people to vote out Chase. I believe Tanya/Kenny voted together to take out Alex, and I believe Chase voted by himself to take out Kenny.
This round has several implications.
First, it appears that Tanya does not have a Hidden Immunity Idol as I strongly suspected. She would have given it to Kenny had she had one. Also, it shows that Colby and Sophie are going to be loyal to Nanguluwur. Or, more specifically, to JT. All the more reason for me to keep JT on my good side.
Plus Alex and Lex have started to step up, which makes working with them a whole lot easier.
I think if we were to lose Tanya would go home. She no longer has her Immunity Idol and there's still some tension there. She simply come out too strong and it stirred a lot of people the wrong way. And if she's scorned, better to take her out now than have her come after me in a another swapped tribe. Sorry Tanya.
To give her credit, she has calmed down significantly since her blind side at Tribal Council. If this Tanya were the one who originally joined our tribe, their might have been hope for her to stay.
Overall, things are going well for me. I still feel somewhat in control, having both Mikey and JT on my good side. I feel closer with Lex and Alex, and I feel like Tanya kind of likes me ... so if she does start some revolt, she'll probably come to me.
I feel like I'm on top right now.
