I won immunity, which I feel is what definitely saved me. Without it, I can't say if Ami would have stayed loyal to me or not.
The vote was interesting. We were going to vote for John because that's what Ami wanted, so Silas and I were going to do what she wanted so she didn't flip. We talked about setting up a decoy boot plan and pretending to target Yul.
When the vote happened, Ami warned us at the last second that John had the idol and that we should vote for Yul. So, Silas and I did. Yul went home, and that prevented Silas from being idoled out of the game. Silas has become such a huge jury threat now (in my opinion) that I almost want to see him gone before finals because he has some angles that he can use against me, but I won't personally vote for him because I want to stick to the "I was loyal to my alliance" card if I make the finals.
I will approach immunity like I don't have a shot of making finals without it, but I'll still try my best to make a deal with Silas to take one another, see what his thoughts on Ami are, and maybe make a deal with John to take one another since we're perceived as the two biggest threats to win.
Maybe the 3 "threats" could all agree to take out Ami? To be honest, I need to think through each scenario and what would work best for me in the finals if I make it. I'm not the lock to win that everyone says I am.

Thanks! I want to put in a really solid effort with this challenge because I believe I can win this game in the final three. Winning challenges in this game is so much more important than other games because you get to go to Ubirr and control who else goes to Ubirr, and the prizes there are very significant in order to assure votes work out successfully. Following the flash games that I was horrid at, I was top two in every challenge. The two I lost were either close or I lost because of technicalities. So, that's a huge angle that I'll work.
Socially, I had connections and was part of a great alliance with Gunlom early, then helped secure Ralph into the original Gunlom alliance, then used my connection with Erik to help bring him and Eliza into the alliance, and Ami kind of eventually joined as a result of Eliza joining earlier in a sense and most of my group having no active role in Erik betraying Eliza. I was especially close to Chicken, Erik, Ralph, and Silas, and (even though I contemplated betraying them) I was fully loyal to my alliance which is difficult to do in these games and still make it to the end.
I lied and backstabbed others to help assure that votes were successful. An example of this would be Taj vote where I found myself in a chatroom for hours with Alex, Colby, and Taj that worked towards establishing a false alliance with Taj to make her feel safe, then backstabbed Alex, then re-established a fake alliance with her in order to make her feel safe enough not to play the idol that she suppposedly had, and then tricked Colby into believing he was safe the next round to establish a blindside. I feel like I played the most significant role towards making these moves happen. And that was just one tribe. The only person in the finals who, I believe, had a more active, positive role towards strategy post-merge would be Silas, who did a LOT to assure the targets were best without the protection of immunity or an idol. I think either he or I will win the game. Ami played a game to get to the finals but not a winning game, and if I win immunity, I believe that we will vote out John 3-1 unless Ami and John force a tie between John and Silas. Ami's swapping hasn't made a lot of sense, so who knows what she'll do.
I'm saying this all now just to convince myself I can win so that I'll be willing to go like 10+ hours towards winning this tonight. It's a good week to be on Spring Break.
