Round 19 Confessional

A couple notes I just wanted to point out before the actual round starts

1. I said last round I wanted Silas or Bobby gone, and I made it happen. Sure, it took a little cooperation (perhaps too easily of cooperation), but in the end my goal was acheived and all that really counts in this game is the bottom line of getting done what you want.

2. I've reached the final 8, which is the same round I got voted out back in season 2 Patagonia. With almost a third more contestants as season two, I think this has clearly been my best game out of the three I've played in the series (all-stars shouldn't count, since that game started during a bad time for me, but the records count regardless)

3. The best case scenario right now for the upcoming round is a KOI challenge or even an eChallenge. Sure there hasn't been n eChallenge yet this season, but you'd think ONE would pop up sometime. But if no, KOI challenge will suffice. I know there is one more left to be done, and I'm hoping it's this round. There's absolutely no way Russel or Ralph won't win one against Yul/Lex/John. It's for this exact reason why I havn' been able to 100% declare allegiance to Yul and his crew. If Russ/Ralph win KOI, it'd be in their best interest to nominate all three of those guys, because R/R still feel I am slightly with them. If this happened, I'd probably want to vote out John given all the prizes he has. Who knows, maybe i'd be able to convince him to give them to me for safe-keeping

4. The Bob-Dawg callout. Personally, all it did for me was make me realize how retarded the guy is. More than half the stuff he said isn't even true. The most hilarious one was when he wrote how John is the frontrunner in his eyes. In my eyes, he and Lex are the worst two out here. Besides, when he said I'm boring to talk to, I just knew the man was livin on the sunny side of Looneyville.


All in all, last round went pretty much ok, and hopefully we can start gettin some shit out of the way to set myself up for a nice Final 3 appearance.

Quick hits today because there is ESPN's college gameday here at UConn and I'm ready for a Saturday of sports bliss.

Plan is to get myself, John, Yul and Lex to vote out Silas. I'm telling Silas the vote is Ralph in hopes he tells Ralph and in turn Ralph plays an idol. If Ralph doesn't play the idol this round, it's pretty much a failure. But I think he will play it, and as such, we will get rid of the idol. The person leaving this round will be Silas. Was my plan to get rid of the floaters the last round and this current one, and I'm makin shit come true.

News Flash:

Gary Hawkins, lawnscaper extraordinaire is under attack! The evil captain Russell and his companions Ralph with lapdog Silas are plotting to undermine America's favorite shrub-master. This obviously can not do! Hopefully with adding Ami on the repetoire of people voting for Silas, this plan won't go wrong. I've implanted enough seeds to make the opposition believe Ralph will be getting votes, and I seriously hope that there is little effective resistance to the masterwork.

I've boiled this vote into three possibilities: Worst case scenario i leave, best case scenario, silas leaves and ralph loses idol. For something we'll take: silas leaves, no idol played.

A fourth option which may be the smartest of them all, is actually by the opposing force. If they pretend I'm the vote, then go ahead and use rewards to take out a John or a Yul, it would be extremely beneficial to their game. They'd be using the same red herring technique my side wants to use. Poetic justice.

On the third hand (because yes, I have become semi-mutant due to the insanity of this game), Lex might be a candidate to go as voted by myself, Russ, Ralph, Silas, and Ami. It seems like a plausible vote that keeps me here short-term, but the long-term consequences can be deadly. Keeping Silas around scares me since he told me he would go against Ralph (and presumably Russell, as he should be everybody's main target at this point).

Hopefully this isn't my last confessional, if it is then it's both incredibly ironic and unfortunate. Like I said in my first post of the round the final 8 was the time I got voted out as Terry, and I desperately wanted to beat that mark. I think my game this round has been more complete, not nearly as many enemies as last time, and I've actually upped my confessional entertainment value!

So if this is the end, Kakadu has been great. If it's not the end and im still around, next round shall be interesting.
