Episode One~

When all 42 of us were lined up next to each other I knew that the game was about to begin. I knew that this was going to be the start of the game and I better prepare myself for what was about to take place.

Rob pulled out 6 different colored buffs out of bag and informed us that he would call out the names of the people on each tribe. I was pretty nervous to find out what tribe I would be on. There were certainly people I was hoping to start this game off with and other people I was hoping to get to avoid.

In the end I was chosen to be on the Nourlangie tribe which is the yellow tribe. Not the biggest fan of yellow. They're definitely some other pretty tribe colors that I would have preferred to wear at the begining, but oh well! I'll get over it! lol.

Right now I just need to get to know my tribe members. They're 7 of us and 4 would make the majority. So I need to make sure that I don't fall in the minority on my tribe and show my tribe members that I'm going to be dedicated to working at this tribe winning challenges and staying united! I'm excited for this all to start!

We literally got to our camp site and I already was approached by Ethan to form an alliance. lol. I was like..What the heck? lol. I mean I think this might be literally the fastest offer I have ever received in my almost 8 years of gaming experience. It was literally "Hi, do you want to be part of an alliance of 4 people?" I was surprised that Ethan would put himself out there and offer up a plan that wasn't even put together yet. I mean he didn't have anyone involved as far as I knew. Usually I feel like the Canadians are some of the smartest players out there, but Ethan has really shown himself as a rookie right from the start.I decided to ask Chase if he was offered an alliance by Ethan and he said he wasn't. So this makes me think that maybe Ethan has something with someone else already or maybe Ethan is just really concerned about making sure he's in the majority. Regardless I think that right now I just need to keep getting to know these people because I don't want to align myself with people that are going to be quick to turn against me.

Silas and I immediately recognized each other from before and we felt that we should work together in this game. I honestly believe that the strongest alliance you can make in the game is the one that you make on Day One. I don't think there is any stronger alliance then building one with someone from the very first day. I think that we could be a power couple and I trust him enough to know that we could control the way the tribe operates. Right now he is with Ethan and that isn't something I need to jump in right away. I feel like I am already positioning myself on this tribe to go far. so I feel good about what is taking place right now.

Ralph seems like a nice guy. I kinda feel like he's flirting with me though which is kinda weird. lol. I mean he's probably twice my age and has more hair on his body then I have on my head. So I don't think that is a love interest I'm going to entertain.

Ya know I don't what is with this tribe and offering me alliances. lol. It's like everyone is trying to spark up the alliance conversation with me and its making me a little uneasy. I guess people are really feeling insecure about their position on the tribe!

For me the first vote is usually for the person who performs the weakest in the challenge if we lose or is the least social with the tribe.

I will say though that if our tribe is as actively involved in trying to form alliances as they're in competing in our challenges...were going to win! lol.

Walking into our first challenge I was a little nervous because the shear size of people standing on the mats was intimidating enough. They're a lot of people in this game and its going to be tough to win!

Rob announced to us that only 1 tribe would win Immunity and the other 5 tribes would be heading to Tribal Council. This was tough to hear because the chances of winning Immunity are really small. However, I think our tribe can pull it together if we work as a team on this challenge.

The challenge is for us to be one of the first ten to sprint toward a ball to earn points. Those ten people will earn a certain amount of points for their tribe and the tribe with the most points at the end will win Immunity.

However, we also would be competing individually for the opportunity to go on a trip to Ubirr. The top point getter from each tribe will make the hike there and discover its secrets. So there is an individual and team aspect to this challenge. I'm hoping that if our tribe doesn't win that I at least win individually. So I will be competing my hardest and hopefully in the end the best outcome comes out of this all!

Our tribe lost the Immunity Challenge which wasn't all that surprising actually? I mean its going to be very tough to win these challenges if only one tribe wins and they're six tribes total. So the odds were against us and I think not having everyone fully engaged in the challenge clearly hurt us.

At this point it seems like the obvious vote will be for James to go, but I'm kinda thinking long term here. I really want to secure myself past this vote and if James left this time it would leave me unsure as to what was going to happen next. So I might try to play around with this vote and see if I can get people to target someone else. lol.

Having Silas as an ally has already shown to be very beneficial for me. Silas informed me that the guys were talking about possibly forming an alliance together. This has kinda changed my strategy of targeting Morgan this time. Now I know that I need to vote for James and possibly get close to Morgan in the upcoming days.

An all guys alliance would clearly not benefit me. lol. I never understand these all same sex alliances, but girls are smarter then boys so I'm not worried. I will use my feminine assets to my advantage if I need too. lol.
